This auction brings to you carefully curated collections of jade, agate, ceramics, cloisonne enamel and wood of exquisite quality from esteemed collectors and auction houses - including Sotheby's, Bonhams, Christie's, as well as prominent London art dealers such as Marchant & Son and Stockspring Antiques. Additionally, the auction includes items of fine provenance from distinguished country houses.
Highlights of the auction
Highlights in this latest auction include a rare white jade 'magpie in plum' vase with cover and a finely crafted imperial white jade plaque mounted on a hongmu wood table screen, both 18th century pieces from an Essex country house; a green-enamelled 'dragon' dish from the Qianlong period sourced from Sotheby's London; and a rare Qing Dynasty zitan inlaid hat stand with cover from a private English collection.

Mail Boxes work closely with all the major auctioneers and specialise in bespoke collection, expert packing, comprehensive cover and worldwide delivery of antiques, fine art and collectables at very competitive prices. Please email info@areteart.co.uk for shipping quote once you have successfully bid and paid for your lots. Arete Art will accept no claims for loss or damage after lots been collected by the shipper. Please note : a) The ownership of any lots purchased shall not pass to you until you have made payment in full to us of the total amount due. b) No lot can be shipped until it has been paid for. After successful payment, bidders could collect lots from our company with prior appointment. When using the shipping agent, please allow 2-3 working days for the lots to be released for shipping. c) Once items are removed from the site, we will not take responsibility for any losses or breakages sustained.
